Longtime friends (BFF’s) John Nimmons and Jools Whitehorn have backgrounds in the travel industry and media respectively. Having witnessed the boom in social competitive activities they dipped their toe in the water and successfully ran Battle Bows and Bubble Football for a number of years. Wanting to create an experience with an edge, they were inspired to create the UK’s first urban axe throwing venue.
We find ways to make things better.
We celebrate each individual and encourage contribution.
We speak honestly and with integrity.
We choose simple, long-term solutions over temporary fixes.
We foster a friendly, competitive spirit in everything we do.
By supporting our national charity Trees for Cities and our three local charities, we are ensuring we have a positive impact on the areas in which we operate. There’s more to us than just throwing axes you know!
We selected Trees for Cities as our national charity partner, who focus on cultivating lasting change in their neighbourhoods through healthier environments. In London, our team selected Mind as their partner, who aim to deliver the most effective mental health services. Our Manchester venue partnered with Forever Manchester, a charity focused on supporting and funding community projects in the Manchester area.
This year Whistle Punks is set to open it’s fourth and biggest venue in Bristol. Are you ready?
